In addition to performances of our favorite selections from the summer, we are also excited to feature our special guest artist, Wycliffe Gordon on trombone. Mr. Gordon is a world renowned trombonist and you will not want to miss this performance!

"A Very Brassy Christmas" feat. Jens Lindemann

There’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than with the Big River Brass Band at our annual “A Very Brassy Christmas” concerts. This year we’ll be featuring the AMAZING Jens Lindemann on trumpet for some holiday brass selections - from traditional favorites to stunning variations on holiday themes, there is something for everyone.
Lindemann’s career has ranged from appearing internationally as an orchestral soloist, being featured at the 2010 Olympics, national anthems at the Rose Bowl and for the San Francisco Giants, and recording with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to playing lead trumpet with the renowned Canadian Brass and a solo Command Performance for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
So…gather your friends, get your tickets, and mark your calendars. You will not want to miss this opportunity to experience the holiday spirit and musical artistry of the Big River Brass Band featuring Jens Lindemann!

The Big River Brass Band is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization. We do not collect dues from members and no member of our organization receives pay. We rely on the support of our patrons and donors to cover our daily operating costs and budgeting for larger expenses. With the generous donations of our fans, we have recently been able to purchase two new timpani, a new band trailer, new signage for the Big River Brass Band, in addition to bringing some spectacular guest artists like Rex Richardson and others to the Quad Cities.
